This paper aims to use the concept of service personal values to predict customer satisfaction and word-of-mouth WOM behaviors for banking services. Besides, it also validates the three components of the service personal values when conceptualized as a higher-order construct. The findings show that customer satisfaction is a significant partial mediator between service personal value and WOM. The mixed method was used in this study. A convenience sample of elements collected from eight banks operating in Long An province was analyzed. The data also confirm three components of service personal values, namely value of a peaceful life, value of social recognition, and value of social integration. The results provide evidence for business leaders to approach customers beyond traditional ways. Specifically, satisfaction is a partial mediator between service personal value and WOM.
